Please read the following in regards to donation refunds:

PoetsIN, as with all registered charities, abides by charity law (The Charities Act 2011), which means that we are only able to refund a donation in certain outlined circumstances. 

We understand that mistakes sometimes happen, and that you would like to talk to us about a donation. Please email us on info@PoetsIN.com where we will assist.

Refunds are to be made using bank transfer only and there will be no cash alternative.

The condition of a refund is outlined below and relies on transaction circumstances:

PoetsIN is not able to refund any donation, however, we may consider a refund of duplicate donations (but not the original donation) made in error (eg: you clicked on the Donate button more than once).

If you have made a duplicate donation by mistake, please contact our team via email info@PoetsIN.com. A refund of the duplicate donation may be given at the discretion of PoetsIN, minus any charges we have incurred.

We may consider donation refunds in circumstances where you are able to demonstrate the donation has caused financial hardship.

The only other circumstance in which refunds will be made is where unauthorised use of your payment card is proven. If you become aware of fraudulent use of your card, or if it is lost or stolen, you must notify your card provider in accordance with its reporting rules.

All donation refund requests must be made within 7 days of donation for our consideration, providing proof of donation. Outside these timescales, a refund will be unlikely.

No other donations can be donated. Therefore, please ensure when you make a donation that you are donating to the right place and enter the right amount.
